HOME RUN HOT DOGS
PREP TIME: 5 MINUTES
While it’s easy to get a bit nostalgic over ballpark hot dogs, if you’re truly honest with yourself, they’re usually not that great. These hot dogs, however, are real winners. After all, if you’re smoking your own sausages, you really can’t do any better.
4 hot dog buns, split
4 Smoked Beef Sausages
2 tablespoons Mild Barbecue Sauce
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
¼ cup chopped yellow onion
1. In a dry skillet over high heat, toast the hot dog buns cut-side down for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
2. Place the sausages in the buns and top with the barbecue sauce, mustard, and onion. Serve immediately.
